The Poppins Customer Referrals Program (the "Program") allows existing users of the Poppins platform, both employees ("EEs") and employers ("ERs", and collectively with EEs, "Users"), to earn promotional rewards and service credits ("Rewards") by referring new users who become paying subscribers to the Poppins platform.
In order to participate, Users must agree to these terms, which become part of the Poppins Terms and Conditions of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein will have the same meaning as given them in the Poppins Terms and Conditions of Service.
Eligibility and Qualified Referrals
The Program is open to all Users, and applies only to referrals made on or after September 26, 2025. Referrals made prior to this date are not eligible for rewards under this Program. Users can issue personalized referral links and track the status and Reward eligibility thereof, via the Employee Cubby or Employer Portal, as applicable.
Users will earn Rewards for all Qualified Referrals as set forth below. A referral is considered a "Qualified Referral" if: (i) the referred user has not previously been a paying Poppins subscriber (except that such referrals shall be deemed a Qualified Referral in the case of an ER moving from one state to another where such move requires a new account be established); (ii) the referred user clicks on their personalized referral link to create a valid Poppins User account, including accepting all applicable Terms and Conditions of Service; and (iii) the referred user enrolls and pays their first invoice in full in accordance with the payment schedule specified in the Terms and Conditions of Service, which includes linking a valid U.S. bank account during account setup. Qualified Referrals will be eligible to receive service credits of up to 2 free months of the Poppins Service ($98 value). For the purpose of this Program, "2 free months" shall be defined as follows: the first free month begins on the date of account activation and covers the remainder of that calendar month. The second service credit will apply to the immediately following calendar month.
Rewards
For ER Users that refer a Qualified Referral, the User will receive as a Reward a credit for 1 month of the Poppins Service. For EE Users that refer a Qualified Referral, the User will receive as a Reward a gift card in the amount of $100 per Qualified Referral.
Rewards will be issued within 30 calendar days after the Qualified Referral pays their first invoice in full in accordance with the payment schedule specified in the Terms and Conditions of Service. Eligible Users will be contacted by email with instructions to claim their Rewards.
The maximum amount of gift card Rewards that may be earned by any EE User will be $500 per calendar year. All Rewards are non-transferable. Gift card Rewards may be considered taxable income. ER Users who refer Qualified Referral(s) may earn unlimited Rewards in the form of monthly service credits, subject to the terms of this Program. Users are responsible for filing and paying any applicable taxes which may accrue.
Referral Links
Referrals may be shared for personal use, including on social media, forums, or community groups. However, Users may not promote referral links through paid advertising, mass messaging, or spam tactics, including bots or automated systems. This includes mass emailing, texting or messaging people you do not know or using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute your referral link. Users may not pay to advertise their referral link.
General Conditions
If any provision herein is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable then such provision will be struck and not affect the validity of or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The parties are independent contractors and participation in the Program will not be construed as authority for either party to act for the other party in any agency or other capacity, or to make commitments of any kind for the account of or on behalf of the other. Poppins may suspend or terminate the Program or any User's participation herein at any time in its sole discretion. Poppins reserves the right to review and investigate all referrals and to modify referrals in its sole discretion as deemed reasonably necessary and appropriate. The Program and these terms may be amended, modified or changed from time to time by Poppins in its sole discretion. Users' continued participation in the Program will serve as consent to any such amendment.
End of Year Referral Plan (Holiday 2025) Terms
In addition to the Program described above, Poppins may offer limited-duration seasonal incentives. The following terms (the “Holiday Plan Terms”) govern the 2025 End-of-Year Referral Plan (the “Holiday Plan”), available to all Users beginning December 4, 2025 and ending January 31, 2026 (the “Holiday Period”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this section have the same meaning as in the Program Terms set forth above.
Eligibility and Qualified Holiday Referrals
The Holiday Plan applies only to referrals made during the Holiday Period. A referral is considered a “Qualified Holiday Referral” if it satisfies all requirements of a Qualified Referral under the Program Terms, including enrollment and full payment of the first invoice in accordance with the payment schedule set forth in the Terms and Conditions of Service. To be eligible for the End-of-Year bonuses described below, the referred user must also complete their first payroll on or before January 31, 2026.
Holiday Reward for Employers (ERs)
ER Users will continue to receive the standard Reward for each Qualified Referral as set forth in the Program Terms. In addition, for each Qualified Holiday Referral that completes its first payroll on or before January 31, 2026, ER Users will receive a one-time End-of-Year bonus in the form of a one hundred dollar ($100) gift card. Holiday Rewards are promotional, non-transferable, and may be considered taxable income.
Holiday Reward for Employees (EEs)
EE Users will continue to receive the standard gift card Reward of one hundred dollars ($100) for each Qualified Referral, as defined in the Program Terms. In addition, EE Users will receive an End-of-Year bonus in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100) for each Qualified Holiday Referral that completes its first payroll on or before January 31, 2026.
Holiday Rewards are promotional, non-transferable, and may be considered taxable income. Holiday Rewards issued under the Holiday Plan will not count toward the annual $500 cap on gift card Rewards applicable to EE Users under the Program Terms, unless otherwise expressly stated by Poppins.
Reward Issuance
Holiday Rewards will be issued within 30 calendar days after the referred user (i) pays their first invoice in full and (ii) completes their first payroll, where applicable. Eligible Users will be contacted by email with instructions to claim Rewards.
General
The Holiday Plan is a limited-time promotional offering that may be modified, suspended, or terminated by Poppins at any time in its sole discretion. To the extent of any conflict between these Holiday Plan Terms and the Program Terms, the Holiday Plan Terms govern for referrals made during the Holiday Period. Participation in the Holiday Plan constitutes acceptance of these Holiday Plan Terms.
